    • Welcome to Chaukhatframe. By visiting our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to the Terms and Conditions below. Please read them carefully before you buy. If you do not agree with any part, please do not use the website.

  4. About Us

    • Chaukhatframe ("we", "us", "our") is an online store selling photo frames and wall art, operated from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. "You" or "the customer" means anyone who browses the website or places an order.

  6. Eligibility

    • You must be at least 18 years old, or use the website under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that the details you give us are accurate and complete.

  7. Products and Colour Accuracy

    • We try to show our frames and artwork as accurately as possible. However, colours may look slightly different on your screen because of display settings, lighting and photography.
    • Wall preview and mockup images are for visualisation only. The actual size, finish and look of the product on your wall may vary slightly.
    • Sizes are nominal. Small variations of a few millimetres may occur in handmade or machine-cut frames and are not treated as defects.
    • Artwork, prints and frame finishes may vary very slightly between batches.

    8. 1. Pricing and Payment

    • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
    • Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
    • We may change prices, offers and discounts at any time without notice. The price you see at the time of placing your order is the price you pay.
    • Payment must be completed in full at the time of ordering through the payment methods available at checkout. Your order is confirmed only after payment is successfully received (or, for Cash on Delivery orders if offered, after we confirm the order).
    • In the rare case of a pricing or listing error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid in full.

    9. 2. Order Confirmation and Cancellation

    • After you place an order, you will receive a confirmation by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
    • We may cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, for example due to stock issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud or an incorrect address. If we cancel a paid order, you will receive a full refund.
    • You may request cancellation before your order is dispatched by contacting us immediately. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

    10. 3. Dispatch and Delivery

    • Dispatch time: Orders are dispatched within 2–3 days of order confirmation.
    • Delivery time: Orders are delivered within 7–8 working days from the date of order.
    • Working days exclude Sundays and public holidays.
    • Delivery timelines are estimates. Delays can occur because of courier issues, weather, strikes, festivals, remote locations or other events beyond our control. We will do our best to keep you informed.
    • A tracking link will be shared once your order is dispatched, wherever tracking is available.
    • You are responsible for giving a complete and correct delivery address and a working phone number. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by wrong or incomplete details.
    • Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the order is delivered to the address you provided.

    11. 4. Money-Back Guarantee (5 Days)

    We offer a 5-day money-back guarantee, which applies only if:

    1. the product arrives damaged, or
    2. the product is not received.

    12. ​4.1 Damaged products

      • You must contact us within 5 days of delivery.
      • Please record a clear unboxing video (or take clear photos of the parcel, packaging and product) when you open the package, and share it with us. This helps us claim from the courier and process your refund quickly.
      • We may ask for additional photos or details to verify the damage.
      • The product must be unused and kept in its original packaging until the claim is resolved.

    13. ​4.2 Products not received

      • If your order has not arrived within the promised delivery window, please contact us within 5 days after the expected delivery date.
      • We will check the status with the courier partner. If the order is confirmed as lost or undelivered, you will receive a full refund.

    14. ​4.3 What is not covered

    ​The money-back guarantee does not apply to:

      • change of mind, wrong choice of size, colour or design, or the product not matching your room or décor;
      • minor differences in colour, shade or print between the screen and the actual product;
      • damage caused after delivery by misuse, mishandling, improper installation or normal wear and tear;
      • claims made after the 5-day period;
      • wrong address or phone number provided by the customer, or refusal to accept delivery.

    15. ​4.4 How refunds are processed

      • Once your claim is approved, the refund will be sent to your original payment method.
      • Refunds usually take 5–7 working days to show in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
      • Shipping charges, if any, are refunded only where the product was not received or where we are responsible for the damage.

    16. 5. Packaging and Care

    Frames are fragile. We pack every order carefully to reach you safely. Once you receive your frame, please handle it with care, hang it using suitable hooks or fixtures for the weight and wall type, and keep it away from direct moisture and heat. We are not liable for damage caused by improper installation or handling after delivery.

    6. Intellectual Property

    All content on this website, including the Chaukhatframe name, logo, designs, images, text and graphics, belongs to Chaukhatframe or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or use any content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

    7. User Conduct

    You agree not to:

    • use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
    • attempt to hack, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
    • provide false information or impersonate another person;
    • misuse offers, discount codes or the refund policy.

    17. We may suspend or terminate access and cancel orders where we reasonably suspect misuse.

    8. Privacy

    We collect and use your personal information, such as your name, address, phone number, email and order details, only to process orders, deliver products, provide support and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information. We may share the necessary details with courier partners and payment providers to complete your order.     9. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law:

    • Chaukhatframe is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products.
    • Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
    • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, courier disruptions, strikes, government restrictions or technical failures.

    18. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.

    10. Third-Party Links and Services

    Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services such as payment gateways and courier partners. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

    11. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Orders are governed by the Terms in force at the time you place the order.

    12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

    These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
